Beautiful restaurant and very kind staff. We specifically asked for mild. If this is their mild —it’s way too spicy for us. Inedible. Mouths left burning. Beef was real tough and rubbery. Curry had a good taste, just too hot. Rice mushy. Crab had a mayonnaise taste, not cream cheese. Papaya salad had a good texture and fresh flavor. We got this to go on a Saturday afternoon. No other customers-inside or picking up food.

Anothai on FM 1960 stole our hearts (and stomachs!) with a feast fit for royalty. Chicken Satay danced with peanut sauce, Spring Rolls burst with fresh flavors, and puffs of Curry delight puffed away. Papaya Salad's tangy crunch prepped us for Pad Thai's perfect noodles, and Deep Fried Fish floated in a sea of crispy bliss. You and Pele, our superstar servers, made the night sing with smiles and service worthy of a standing ovation. Anothai, we'll be back for an encore soon!

This food was the best Thai food I've had in the last 10 years. Hands down my new go to favorite restaurant. The Tom Kha Gai soup was spectacular; the spring rolls and sauce were perfect; and the sticky rice with Thai custard and mango was utterly amazing. 11/10 stars for me. My husband really enjoyed their red curry as well.

The beef and chicken here is halal and that's the greatest. The restaurant was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the food was delicious. I tried my son's orange chicken and it was the best Ive ever had. The chicken was slightly crispy and soft and moist in the middle. So good. My wife had a chicken with rice plate and I tried crab fried rice for the first time. The soup was very good and the egg rolls were perfect. My finicky son loved them. Everything was delicious. The portions were a good size so we couldn't finish our food. The Thai tea was a first for me and it was a beautiful color and tasted great. The only reason we didn't take a to - go box was because we were traveling a lot that day and the food would be sitting in the car for a while. I sensed a slight disappointment from the servers because we didn't want a to-go box. 😅. Great place. When back in Houston we plan to visit again.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I would not recommend this place to the worst of my enemy. I walked in and i was very excited to find out that they serve halal options. The lady behind the counter was ruthless and unwelcoming. I ordered ginger tea and a beef pad Thai togo. Me and my son had to use restroom and when we walked in I cannot explain how disgusting it smelled and we had to run out. My son started throwing up right outside in the parking. It was the most awful experience i had ever had at any restaurant. So i went inside and said i want to cancel my order because of what happened. When she went in the kitchen and screamed in her language of why I wanted my order canceled they all started laughing. Pathetic service and staff.

BE AWARE!!! THIS PLACE "Anothai Cuisine Restaurant " STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!!! I never use this particular card. I used it on Monday afternoon at 330am Wednesday at least 20 charges tried to come thru!!!! My bank caught everyone. They tried to charge in Hong Kong, Disney, Walmart, and etc. BE AWARE, the cashier took my credit card to the back. If you like this place use CASH!!! Also, they tried to charge me for drinks, we didn't have, so she had to correct the bill. Probably, that's when my information was STOLEN!!! This was my first and last visit. The vegetable spring rolls were ok, the Tom Tom soup smelled and tasted bad, the Pad Thai was too sweet and the Chicken Panang was good but cold once it arrived to the table. BAD BAD BUSINESS, I AM SO DISAPPOINTED

This is our go to place for a celebratory lunch. The fried tilapia is always delicious and beautifully presented. The yellow curry with vegetables is delicious as well as the chicken or tofu pad thai. The beef basil fried rice is so good!! Beware of the spiciness with their masks, it's 🔥🔥🔥. We love that their tables have white butcher paper and crayons for little ones to get creative and be entertained.
